Emergency & Casualty
Our casualty department never closes. The laboratory, imaging unit, and pharmacy stay open alongside it — so an emergency is assessed, investigated, and treated in one place, at any hour.

If you or someone with you has any of the following, come straight to casualty or call an ambulance. Do not wait for an OPD slot, and do not drive yourself.
Chest pain or pressure
Especially with sweating, nausea, or pain spreading to the arm, neck, or jaw.
Difficulty breathing
Breathlessness at rest, gasping, or blue lips or fingertips.
Sudden weakness or slurred speech
Face drooping, weakness on one side, or confusion — possible stroke. Come immediately.
Severe bleeding or injury
Bleeding that will not stop, deep wounds, or a suspected fracture.
Loss of consciousness or seizure
Fainting, a fit, or someone who cannot be woken.
Severe abdominal pain
Sudden, intense pain, especially with vomiting or a rigid abdomen.
High fever in an infant
Any fever in a baby under three months, or a child who is drowsy or not feeding.
Poisoning, burns, or a fall
Swallowed chemicals or medicines, significant burns, or a fall from height.
This list is not exhaustive. Trust your judgement — if something feels seriously wrong, come in. No one will be turned away for arriving when they were not sure.
What happens when you arrive
- 01
Triage on arrival
You are assessed immediately by the casualty team. The most urgent cases are seen first, not the earliest arrivals.
- 02
Immediate stabilisation
Oxygen, IV access, pain relief, and monitoring are started while the cause is being established.
- 03
Tests without delay
Bloods and imaging happen on site at any hour — the laboratory and radiology unit run alongside casualty.
- 04
Treatment or transfer
You are treated here, admitted to day care for observation, or — if you need a higher level of care — stabilised and referred to a tertiary centre.
Our scope of emergency care
We are a less than 30-bedded hospital licence with a 10-bed day care unit. We stabilise and treat a wide range of emergencies on site. Cases needing intensive care, major surgery, or specialist inpatient treatment are stabilised here first and then referred to a tertiary hospital — we will arrange that transfer and share your records with the receiving team.
Bring what you can
Helpful, but never a reason to delay coming in.
- Any medicines the patient is currently taking
- A photo ID and insurance card, if to hand
- Previous reports, scans, or discharge summaries
- The name and number of a family member we can reach
- A note of known allergies
Insurance in an emergency
Treatment starts first. Paperwork follows. Our insurance desk will handle pre-authorisation with your insurer or TPA once the patient is stable — you do not need to sort out cover before being seen.

For routine consultations, book an OPD slot — you will be seen at a confirmed time with a much shorter wait.
