Radiology & Imaging — common questions
What does "AI-assisted" reporting mean?+
AI software helps flag findings for the radiologist's attention and speeds up reporting. Every report is reviewed and signed by a qualified radiologist — the AI supports the doctor, it does not replace them.
Do I need a doctor's prescription for a scan?+
A referral is needed for most imaging so the right study is performed. If you do not have one, book a consultation first and the physician will advise which scan applies.
How soon will I get my report?+
Most X-ray and ultrasound reports are ready the same day, and are shared with your consultant directly.
